The Circular Cowl Knitting Kit includes the pattern and yarn. Choose your yarn and colour from two Chunky 12ply yarns:
Azteca a classic blend of 53% Wool & 47% Acrylic 100g balls
Verve with 70% Wool & 30% Acrylic 50g balls
The Circular Cowl is knitted top down, choose to work on a circular needle or 4 double pointed needles, I like to knit on straight needles or you can knit 'flat' on straight needles, I cover the seam with a plait.
The Corrugated Garter stitch pattern is a 4 row repeat: Knit 2 rounds/rows then purl 2 rounds/rows.
Long length 18"/46cm : Image in Azteca colour Autumn sample knitted on 7.5mm ndls, 2 x 100g balls.
Short length 11"/28cm : Half the length of the Long.
Tension: When knitting Cowls, Wraps and Scarfs I generally use a needle size 2 or 3 times larger than needle size given on the ball band.
