The Aran Swagger is offers six chest sizes
The Aran Swagger is knitted in Signatur 8ply/ DK 100 Australian Wool, with the pattern written in six chest sizes. The Aran Swagger style has a shawl collar and pockets, an easy to wear style with extra ease over the hip and fitted to the shoulders. Chest ease is 2-3"/ 5-7cm - the swagger style over the hips plus 17-20"/ 43-51cm. Garment shown is knitted in Mustard Fleck Australian Wool.
The knitting kit includes the yarn, buttons and knitting instructions, the row by row instructions are supported with full graphs and diagrams. Buttons for the flecked colours are shell buttons, the solid coloured yarns have square handmade buttons.
Graphs and Written instructions: The pattern is written with the sleeve first, graph and instructions written row by row for the sleeves. The Diamond pattern decreases in width cuff to sleeve top. The fronts are worked next, with Aline shaping at the side seam and within the front panel, the Diamonds reduce in width hem to shoulder as the Aline shaping reduces the width of the panel. The back is just stunning with the centre Diamond pattern increasing in width hem to shoulder, between the Aline Diamond panels as the fronts. In Addition to graphs a diagram allows you to follow the decrease shaping and includes a stitch count. This is an 18 page pattern, with row by row instructions to establish the stitch patterns.
Swagger styling has fullness over the hip, is shaped to fit after the armhole to the shoulder.
Tension: The sleeves are knitted first, this allows you to double check your tension and become familiar with the stitch pattern.
