The Shona Jacket Knitting Kit includes the knitting pattern, Australian wool and buttons which vary from handmade to shell buttons depending on the colour match.
Round Neck Shona Cardigan is a separate kit, as is the Shona Sweater
SHORT Length 59- 61cm/23 - 24".
LONG Length 61- 63cm/ 24 - 26"
Sizes: The knitting pattern has six chest sizes from 30"to 47"/ 76 - 120cm with a chest ease of 2"/ 4cm per size. Extra Hip ease can be incorporated into the garment, adding 3"/8cm into the hip.
Kits: Small/Med (first 3 sizes of pattern) up to 38"/97cm (add 3"/8cm hip = 41"/104cm).
Medium/Large: up to 47"/120cm (add 3"/8cm hip = 50"/127cm).
Details: The fronts are commenced in two pieces, to create the off centre splits in each front. The adjoining edges each have a cable and when the two halves of the garment join, the cables create a large OXO.
Shawl Collar: The front button bands in Double Moss are knitted as one with the fronts of the garment. The collar is created by working a paired increase/ decrease, this decreases into the body of the garment and increases into the collar.
