The Frida Jacket Knitting kit is knitted in Intarsia technique using 21 colours, using a graph per garment piece; each square of the graph paper is one stitch of the knitting. The knitting kit includes Signatur 8ply wool, knitting instructions, graphs and six beautiful handmade buttons. I will add images showing the wrong side of the knitting, using a length of yarn/colour per area of knitting, without carrying the yarn at the wrong side of the knitting.
I like to create garments for everybody, which includes both chest sizes and tailoring the fit to the shoulder, additionally I add a touch of Aline into the hip. The Aline is not overly apparent, simply 4sts each side seam, adding a total of 16sts into the hip 3"/7cm.
The pattern has seven chest sizes from 92-132cm/ 36-52" with a chest ease 5-7cm/ 2-3"and hip Aline + additional 7cm/3". Largest chest 52" with 3"ease = 55" - Hip + 3" = 58".
The modeled garment base colour is Peacock, the kit is also available with a Light navy main colour. The Peacock works really well in creating extra vibrancy compared to the light Navy.
