The Split Texture Jacket Knitting Class introduces most of the stitches required for this design, plus short rows for the hemline and the button band in Corrugated Garter. The most challenging stitch pattern is the Celtic Cross, if you look closely at the images below you can see the garter stitch within the Celtic Cross pattern, with a Purl WS rows (wrong side row) the challenge of this stitch pattern is reduced.

Knitting Kit: includes the knitting pattern, Australian wool and nine handmade or shell buttons, depending upon the colour. Buttons are used on both the front and back of this design.

Sizes: The knitting pattern has six chest sizes from 33"to 46"/ 84 to 118cm, with a chest ease of 3"/8cm. This short length 52cm to 58cm sits at the side seam just slightly below the hip, the short row slope to centre front/centre back adds 4.5"/ 11cm to centre length.

Kits: Small (first 2 sizes of pattern) up to 37"/ 94cm
Medium: Up to 41"/ 104cm
Large: Up to 46"/ 118cm.

Collar Option: Sample worn is knitted in colour Light Olive and has the High Round Collar. The second option is to work a Shawl Collar shown on the front and back of the Ruby Swagger.

Fun details: Button up tail has the lower back knitted in 2 sections, the cable edge with buttonholes. The twisted panels create holes, these are optional. The pattern has an option to work a straight hem instead of the sloped hemline.
